Surrounded by the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps, Stanzach lies at an altitude of 945 m above sea level, nestled in a wild and romantic landscape in the middle of one of the most beautiful and unspoilt valleys in Europe.
Stanzach is considered an ideal starting point for numerous hiking and mountain tours. In the village itself you will find a beach volleyball court, tennis court and football pitch, and those of you looking for a special adrenaline kick are also in the right place! Hiking along the long-distance trail Lechweg, rafting on the wild river Lech, the second fastest river in Europe, and canyoning in the gorges of the Lech Valley are particularly popular. Especially in winter, the Stanzach family lifts with two small lifts and a drag lift incl. ski school invite you to "pure skiing pleasure".
